Representative Payee services are primarily responsible to provide support to individuals with disabilities regarding financial matters. Specifically, the Representative Payee is responsible to establish and maintain entitlements for eligible recipients of Social Security, to manage monthly bills and to provide personal spending money. The individual's benefits are paid to the Representative Payee on the beneficiary's behalf and the services provided by the payee must be tailored to best meet the individual's needs while preserving their financial security
